Is Boruto Next Generation finished? ›

The series finished its first part with episode 293 on 26 March 2023; a second part was announced to be in development.

Boruto's first chapter started with a flash-forward showing the title character with a scar over one eye, naturally leading many fans to wonder what the explanation for the wound was. Unsurprisingly, it turns out that Boruto got his scar from Kawaki, but he did so while trying to save a person very dear to him.

But no, this ended up coming true. Kurama is back! We all suspected this because they were falling the chakra signature.

Synopsis. Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 11 is set for release on June 20, 2024. Fans anticipate major developments, including Himawari's new abilities and significant battles.

As of writing, there is no announcement from Studio Pierrot about new Boruto episodes coming out in 2024. It might take a while before the anime comes back. The latest episodes of the Boruto anime ended with the Code Assault arc adaptation. Since then, the manga has released two arcs (15 chapters) so far.

The Boruto anime debuted in Japan in April 2017 on TV Tokyo. Part 1 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations concluded with 293 episodes in March 2023, paving the way for part 2, which has also been confirmed. Viz Media secured the rights to the series' dub and will stream it on Hulu next month.
