Does Himeno Die In Chainsaw Man Episode 8?

Unfortunately, yes, Himeno is indeed dead by the end of the Chainsaw Man Episode 8 where she completely disappeared and since it happened due to a contract with the devil, we, unfortunately, won’t be seeing the return of Himeno as well.

Just like Attack on Titan, consider Chainsaw Man too to kill its character left and right even though you get attached to them. Make sure to have a heart of rock while watching this series and expect anything to occur. Chainsaw Man Episode 8 plays out starting with Denji and Himeno in the latter’s apartment and we thought that Denji might finally score.

However, he is a sucker for Makima and thus wants his first time to be with Makima. After waking up, Himeno and Denji form a deal of setting each other up with their beloved and forming a friendship as well. Meanwhile, we also see that an unknown organization dressed up as civilians are spread across Tokyo targeting the special division members including Makima who is also shot while she was on her way to Kyoto.

The massacre of the Devil Hunters of the Public Safety Division is taking place all over Tokyo and as we learn in the latest episode of Chainsaw Man episode 9 only the non-human devil hunters have survived the tragic incident. Members of the Special Divison 4 are having lunch in a cafe when a man appears and shoots in the head and Himeno in the chest after saying that Gun Devil is after Denji’s heart.

Aki quickly uses Kon to eat the man however, it turns out that he has a devil contract with a Katana and defeats Aki with the help of another character who also has a devil contract with a Snake. Himeno in a desperate attempt to save Aki gives everything of her to the Ghost devil which results in Himeno’s body disappearing limb by limb until she completely vanishes.

Will Himeno Return In Chainsaw Man Series?

Fortunately, Himeno will make a few returns in the series through flashbacks but she won’t return as a whole ever again as she is completely dead. So, far there are four chapters that have been reported to return Himeno with flashbacks. The chapter numbers are 29 (Perfect Score), 35 (Minor), 38 (Easy Revenge), and 65 (The Darkness Devil).
